"Haisai FESTA," one of the  largest events in the metropolitan area with an annual theme of Okinawan culture, will be held on Golden Week at the commercial complex "La Cittadella" in front of Kawasaki Station (Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki City, operated by Citta' Entertainment Co., Ltd.)

This year's "Haisai FESTA" will be held on the 100th anniversary of the Kawasaki City Government and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Kawasaki Okinawa Kenjin Kai, and will feature the popular "gourmet food stalls" and a "product sales" lineup of limited products, a "music festival,"  "free outdoor live performances," "Eisa," a traditional Okinawa performing art, a "film festival," and a "dance challenge project" on SNS. The "Haisai FESTA" will also feature  a "Gourmet Food Stall" and "Product Sales" with limited-edition products.

The popular gourmet food stalls and vendors will be joined by a record number of about 100 vendors, including 29 first-time vendors and 39 vendors from Okinawa. In addition to the standard "Okinawa Soba" and "Orion Draft Beer," there will be a wide variety of island gourmet foods and specialties from various parts of Okinawa's main island, Miyako Island, Ishigaki Island, Kume Island, Tarama Island, Ie Island, Hatoma Island, etc. The "Okinawa Music Experience" will also be on display. In addition, 35 artists of various genres from pop, rock, and folk music will perform at the "Open-air Free Live" where you can  experience Okinawan music. In addition, the "Haisai FESTA's popular performance," the powerful Okinawa traditional performing art "Eisa," will be held with even more attractive contents than in previous years, including a performance by a performing arts group from Uruma City, the "home of traditional eisa. In addition, there will be a sale of Okinawan goods and sundries, a "Music Festival" with top artists who lead the music scene gathering at Club Città, and many other things that will allow visitors to fully enjoy the Okinawan atmosphere while staying in Kawasaki. Various collaborations with "Uruma City (Okinawa's main island)," with its rich nature and culture, are realized! The rich nature is a treasure trove of foodstuffs. Performing arts  groups from Uruma City, a town of traditional culture, will perform!

■Film Festival will be held!

May 6 (Mon, holiday) Haisai FESTA 2024 Film Festival "Bantagashima" Special Screening. Set in the great nature of Miyako Island, the film depicts the warm interaction between a boy from Tokyo and his uncle who lives on the island.

May 5 (Sun) Concert begins: 17:30 Venue:  Club Citta *Pre-sale 6,600 yen

Yu Shimabukuro (BEGIN) and other artists will perform at "Okinawa's Charm through Music," the live performance by a "one-day-only band" consisting of five artists from Okinawa, including Yuu Shimabukuro (BEGIN), will be held.
