The Future of Real Estate DX Conference 2024


Purpose

To bring together experts from the real estate and digital industries, as well as business companies interested in new fields, to explore the future direction of real estate DX and solutions to issues. Create new business opportunities and innovation in the real estate industry through face-to-face communication. By meeting six times over a six-month period with the same members, we will look to ultimately compile policy proposals related to real estate DX as a group.

As the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is in charge of the "DX of Architecture and Urbanism" policy promoted by the Ministry, we will have speakers from the divisions in charge of "Real Estate ID," "Construction BIM," and "3D City Model PLATEAU" from the Ministry to explain and discuss the present and future of the national policy. Digital twin is a technology that digitally and accurately replicates physical buildings and cities, thereby making urban planning, building design, construction, and management more efficient and accurate. Keynote speaker Mark Kitabayashi, former Japanese Ambassador to the National Association of Realtors, is an expert on the U.S. and Japanese real estate markets. From his perspective, he will provide insight into global real estate market trends and the evolution of DX in the U.S. real estate market in particular. This will enable participants to deepen their understanding of the international real estate market and create new business opportunities in the Japanese market.

Hiroshi Ichikawa, CEO of Facilo, will present a comparison and application of digital technology in the Japanese and U.S. real estate industries, as well as the potential for new value creation through technology. He will delve into the impact of DX on the industry in terms of automating and streamlining property management and improving the customer experience.

Professor Masayuki Nakagawa, who will deliver the closing speech, will summarize the conference and provide final insights into the future direction of real estate DX.
