What is sustainable?

We often hear about the massive waste caused by overproduction, global warming, etc. What can we do? What can we do? We have developed this product, "EE Sunglasses", to protect the environment (for the earth) and your eyes (for yourself) just by wearing them.

Features of EE Sunglasses

Since the frames and lenses of the sunglasses are made entirely from recycled materials, they are so lightweight (22g) that you may forget that you are wearing them, and they do not put any burden on your ears, so you will not get tired even if you wear them for a long time.

The hinges are screwless design without any metal screws, so there is no worry about rusting due to seawater or perspiration.

Made in Japan, these sunglasses are manufactured in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, which is famous for its glasses. The plastic bottles are made into sunglasses from PET bottles, which are then produced into chips (see photo).

PET bottles collected as "garbage" before disposal are washed, sorted, pressed, and crushed, and then recycled in Japan using special recycling technology to achieve optimum strength, flexibility, and lightness for eyewear.

The eyewear is then revived as recycled eyewear certified by the PET Bottle Recycling Promotion Council. The frames are made from approximately two 500ml recycled PET bottles. The lenses are made of bio-materials that biodegrade in the ocean and soil.
