The Japan Beauty and Health Evidence Association (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Established: February 14, 2024; Representative Director: Satoshi Kawakami) aims to promote cosmetics, health foods, and beauty and health devices based on scientific verification (evidence), and has established a framework for activities to promote the health and vitality of the industry. The Association is now recruiting new regular members and general members who will work together with us.

Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Association is to contribute to the health and vitalization of the industry through the examination and certification of products based on scientific verification. Through the examination of products (cosmetics, health foods, and beauty/health devices) from a medical perspective, we aim to promote reliable products.

■Activities of the Association

The Association's main activities include examination and certification of product evidence, holding workshops and seminars, sales promotion support, and product development support.

1. evidence certification

Under the certification system established by the Association, products are certified at three levels: Gold Certification, Silver Certification, and Blue Certification.

Holding study sessions, etc.

Web salons, seminars, social gatherings, etc., for general members and regular members are organized by MMA directors or MMA-affiliated companies.

3. sales promotion support

For certified products, our board members (or cooperating doctors, pharmacists, or dietitians) will provide comments that can be included in the catalogs or e-commerce sites of certified product companies. (* However, there are some conditions.)

In addition, the Association will make efforts to expand recognition of certified products by posting and displaying them on the Association's website and at exhibitions in which the Association participates. 4.

Product development support

If you are a company, medical corporation, or business owner with no experience in product development and wish to plan and develop a new product, we will introduce you to a consulting company according to the details of the product.

■About the members to be recruited

The Association welcomes membership from those who agree with the main purpose of our activities. The types of membership and their eligibility are as follows.

General members

General membership is open to individuals interested in beauty and health. Membership is free of charge, and as a benefit, members can participate in study sessions and social events organized by the association and related companies.

Regular Members

Regular membership is open to beauty and health-related companies, clinics, and salon managers. Membership is subject to screening, and an admission fee and annual membership fee are required. Privileges include holding product information sessions (via Zoom, etc.) for general members, participating in study groups and social gatherings, applying for evidence certification, and participating in various lectures and academic meetings.
