Hida's Tourist Farm "-Ranch in the Sky- Okuhida Yamanomura Ranch Opened this season on April 20, just before GW!

Okuhida Yamanomura Ranch, a sightseeing ranch in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture, opened for business for the season on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

-Yamanomura Farm is a farm in the sky.

Yamanomura Ranch is located in the Yamanomura Basin at an elevation of nearly 1,000 meters in the northernmost part of Gifu Prefecture, and had been closed during the snowy winter season.

It is customary for the ranch to reopen on Saturdays and Sundays just before Golden Week, and this year it opened on April 20.

Yamanomura Farm raises Jersey cows and manufactures dairy products such as soft-serve ice cream and yogurt mainly from its own raw Jersey milk (raw milk from other companies may be used for production).

We also produce sausages using Gifu Prefecture pork, Bono-Pork Gifu.

In addition to Jersey cows, the park also raises ponies, goats, rabbits, and chickens, which visitors can observe and interact with up close.

Admission to the park is free, and pets are allowed, making it a popular place for families and people with dogs to enjoy a relaxing stroll.

A "sausage buffet" will be held as a lunch menu at the ranch restaurant.

At the sausage buffet, six kinds of homemade sausages are available for all-you-can-eat!

In addition, the buffet includes Hida bread, Hida rice, homemade bacon soup, seasonal vegetables, desserts, and milk with free refills.

Price: Adults 2,500 yen, seniors 1,500 yen, elementary school students 1,000 yen
