IGUTA Corporation renews "Resilience Certification Renewal of "Resilience Certification

icta corporation (Seto-shi, Aichi; President: Hiroshi Miyata), a long-established flooring manufacturer celebrating 154 years in business, has renewed its "Resilience Certification," a certification for organizations contributing to national resilience.

Resilience Certification

The "Resilience Certification" is a system in which the Resilience Japan Promotion Council certifies businesses that are actively implementing business continuity initiatives based on the guidelines of the Cabinet Secretariat's National Land Stabilization Promotion Office. IGUTA Corporation, which obtained the "Resilience Certification" in 2022, has been approved for renewal and will continue to be certified in the two areas of "Business Continuity" and "Social Contribution".

Since the creation of its Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in May 2020, Ikuta Corporation has been working to ensure the safety of its employees and their families in the event of an emergency and to build a system for business continuity. Recently, we have also made efforts to contribute to society by introducing a leave system to encourage employee volunteer activities. We will continue to strengthen our business continuity system to contribute to national land resilience.

＜Resilience Certification

In February 2016, the Cabinet Secretariat's Office for National Land Stabilization established the "Guidelines for Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Land Stabilization" in order to establish a certification system for organizations that support the objectives of national land resilience and are actively engaged in business continuity initiatives as "organizations contributing to national land resilience.

The "Resilience Certification" will be conducted by the Resilience Japan Promotion Council, which has received confirmation from the Cabinet Secretariat's National Land Stabilization Promotion Office that it conforms to the "Requirements for Certified Organizations" stipulated in the above guidelines.
