Emule Co. ■Test Objective

In order to evaluate the effectiveness of "Emul Mineral Bath Powder Premium" in removing artificial stains, a comparison was made between using the bath agent in ion-exchanged water and not using it.

Contents of the test

The properties of "Emul Mineral Bath Powder Premium" were evaluated by the weight change of reinforced plastic board covered with artificial stains (stain removal test) in accordance with JIS C 9606:2007.

■Test Results

Table 1 compares the results of stain removal using ion-exchanged water heated to approximately 40°C and ion-exchanged water with bath salts.

As an evaluation index, we used the artificial stain residual rate (%) as shown in the following equation.

Artificial stain residual rate (%) = weight after test (g) / weight with artificial stain (g) x 100

The results in Table 1 show that the residual amount of stain was about 60% smaller with "Emuls Mineral Bath Powder Premium" than with ion-exchanged water alone, indicating that "Emuls Mineral Bath Powder Premium" removes artificial stains well.

In addition, while the artificial grime was agglomerated and adhered to the ion-exchanged water, the grime in "Emule Mineral Bath Powder Premium" was separated into spheres and floated on the surface of the test solution. These results suggest that "Emul Mineral Bath Powder Premium" promotes the release of artificial stains from the reinforced plastic plate.

■Conclusion

The results of this test showed that the residual rate of stains on the artificial stains with "Emule Mineral Bath Powder Premium" was lower than that without "Emule Mineral Bath Powder Premium". Therefore, it was confirmed that the use of "Emule Mineral Bath Powder Premium" was effective in removing artificial stains from bathtubs.

This means that the use of "Emul Mineral Bath Powder Premium" has been confirmed numerically to make cleaning of bathtubs easier.
