Vectology Inc. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative: Yoshikazu Shinoda) has been selected for the 2025 Yokohama City New Technology Development Support Program "Subsidy for Promoting New Technology and New Product Development by Small and Medium Enterprises".
About the subsidy for promoting new technology and new product development by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
This is one of the Yokohama City's programs to support the development of new technologies, etc., and the subsidy covers expenses related to preliminary investigation, research, and development so that SMEs can actively engage in the development of new technologies and products in order to promote innovation for their growth and development.
([Subsidy limit] 10 million yen [Subsidy rate] 1/2)
This year, seven grant projects, including ours, were selected by a panel of experts.
Selected Projects
We will develop a generative AI device to be mounted on an edge device by constructing a lightweight LLM using FPGA and SRAM, instead of the current generative AI that is currently deployed in the cloud. This will enable real-time performance and low power consumption, which are difficult to achieve with cloud AI.
