ASUSTOR Corporation's NAS DRIVESTOR Gen2 Series Announcement of the Sales Launch of Two New Products

Product Features

This product is the successor to the existing "DRIVESTOR2" (AS1102T) and "DRIVESTOR4" (AS1104T) models, and features an upgraded CPU from "Realtek RTD1296 Quad Core 1.4GHz" to "Realtek RTD1619B Quad Core 1.7GHz". This has resulted in even higher performance and a higher cost-performance ratio compared to the previous model. This enables even higher performance and smoother data processing compared to the previous model. The upgraded CPU also features an enhanced iGPU for significantly improved transcoding capabilities and performance, and the RTD1619B CPU supports real-time 4K decoding in H.264 and AV1 formats for smooth, latency-free playback of high-definition video through LooksGood. In addition, the number of USB 3.2 Gen1 ports has been increased from two to three. This not only improves expandability, but also greatly improves work efficiency and system stability.

The new ADM Defender provides preconfigured firewall profiles and customizable profiles. Intelligent security protection prevents connections to the NAS from suspicious IP addresses in advance. Save power and money with Wake on LAN and Wake on WAN ASUSTOR NAS supports Wake on LAN and Wake on WAN, which turn off when not in use and wake up with a click when needed. Wake on LAN is used when on the same network as the NAS, while Wake on WAN is used when accessing from a remote location. Furthermore, Wake on LAN and Wake on WAN are activated only when necessary, thus protecting the NAS from unauthorized access and attacks.

■Automatic Sync

ASUSTOR EZ Sync brings the convenience of cloud synchronization services to your home; with ASUSTOR NAS and EZ Sync, you can synchronize your data anywhere you have an internet connection and there are no monthly fees or data capacity limitations. ■ Comprehensive Monitoring System
