"Machinaka Autumn Festival 2025" will be held for the first time in Kumamoto from September 13 to 15! A festival in the city with a variety of events such as a shelter dog and cat adoption event, stage performances, gourmet food, and more!

A nonprofit volunteer project aimed at promoting the adoption of rescue cats and dogs, JYOUTOFULL Kumamoto, together with the Kumamoto Gourmet Yokocho Executive Committee and Kyushu Sanko Landmark Co., Ltd. will hold a large-scale, unique city festival at Hanabata Hiroba Square (Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City) from September 13 (Saturday) to September 15 (Monday)  for the first time.

Three events will be held simultaneously:

"JOTOFULL Festa - Smiles and Hope for Cats, Dogs and People from Kumamoto" (organized by JOTOFULL Kumamoto Project), "Kumamoto Gourmet Yokocho" (organized by Kumamoto Gourmet Yokocho Executive Committee), and "6th Happy Birthday SAKURAMACHI - Music and Marché Created by Everyone" (organized by Kyushu Sanko Landmark). 

Everyone is welcome and admission is free. 

Volunteers are also needed to help with the operation of the festival.

*Conditions for the transfer of shelter animals will be in accordance with the regulations of each participating organization. No animals will be taken home on the day of the event.

The participation schedule of each organization and vendor will be announced at a later date.

Priority will be given to those who make reservations in advance. Reservation forms will be posted on the website at a later date.

The event will be held rain or shine. *The event will be held rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of stormy weather such as rainstorms.

*The event may be changed or cancelled depending on the health of the participating animals.

The JOHTOFURU Kumamoto Project is a project to FULL (a lot!) the transfer of shelter animals. The JOHTOFURU KUMAMOTO PROJECT

A volunteer project to promote the transfer of shelter animals.

In cooperation with animal shelters and animal protection groups, various types of transfer events are held.

JOETFUL's transfer events are fun events that welcome everyone, whether you are interested in adopting an animal or not.
