Dialogue Plus, Inc. (headquartered in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) has developed and launched "English Conversation from Zero," an online English conversation curriculum for seniors and adults who are just starting their English conversation studies. The program is designed with a top priority on enabling even those who have forgotten the English they once learned or who are completely new to the language to continue without difficulty.

■Background of Development

Since the opening of the Otona no Eikaiwa Club in 2014, the program has consolidated the know-how gained from supporting thousands of seniors who are learning English for the first time. In order to respond to the concerns that many students have, such as "I don't know where to start," "I can't continue if I'm alone," and "I'm worried about online operation," we have created a special curriculum that makes learning both "safe" and "fun.

Curriculum that allows students to learn with confidence

The curriculum carefully reviews the basics of junior high school English, allowing even beginners and those who have had a blank in English study to begin with confidence. The class is held twice a week at a comfortable pace and is designed to be enjoyable and habit-forming.

A well-developed learning support system

Not only Filipino teachers, but also Japanese teachers and Japanese staff at the support office provide detailed support for learning. By attending to your anxieties and carefully following up on areas where you may easily stumble, it is easier to maintain your motivation to learn.

Group and one-on-one lessons can be used in combination.

Students can solidify the basics in the one-on-one class and output in the group class for beginners. Learning with your peers makes it easier to maintain your motivation.

One-on-one lessons with a Filipino instructor start at about 450 yen per lesson. Continuous learning is possible with plans starting at 3,800 yen per month.

Light Course: 3,800 yen/month (tax included) (3,800 points awarded)

2 lessons per week (8 lessons per month) with mainly Filipino teachers. Points are valid for 90 days.

Standard Course (Recommended): 6,000 yen/month (tax included) (6,300 points awarded)

Combination of a Filipino tutor (8 times/month) and a Japanese tutor (2 times/month). A Japanese instructor will follow up on your learning progress.

One-on-One + Group Package: 6,660 yen/month (tax included)

One-on-One with a Japanese instructor (once a week) + group classes for beginners (about 30 classes per month).
