In the manufacturing and apparel industries, it is common to create documents such as assembly instructions, design drawings, and specification sheets with Illustrator because of its advantage of directly importing drawings and design data created in vector format from CAD and other software. The current manufacturing industry relies on a global supply chain network, and when such documents are translated into local languages and sent to overseas factories, a great deal of labor and cost is required, such as manually extracting the text from Illustrator and translating it into each language, or contracting with an outside translation agency or service. These have been one of the problems at manufacturing sites.

- Dictionary function that registers industry-specific terminology, exception words, etc., equipped with a context recognition feature for translation application. (Dictionaries can be edited and shared in CSV format.)
