ELEMOs4 REBORN is Japan's first small four-wheeled vehicle to be certified as compliant after the introduction of new inspections, including a motor output test, which will be implemented in February 2025.

In addition to the strict testing based on the existing safety standards, the new inspections will not only report the results of motor tests, but will also test the motor output more clearly by actually testing it and measuring the actual driving values. It was also the first vehicle in Japan to be certified as compliant as a four-wheeled 20 km/h model. Intuitive gas pedal operation makes stepless speed adjustment easier. The speed can be adjusted according to the application: 4 to 8 km/h for safe driving, 8 to 12 km/h for leisurely driving, and 12 to 20 km/h for comfortable driving.

For example, a full marathon time of 3 hours and 30 minutes when running at 12 km/h is equivalent to an advanced runner in the general public, but at 20 km/h it is 2 hours and 6 minutes, equivalent to the speed of a world-class runner.

The fact that it does not require a license and has a "speed equivalent to a world-class runner" is one of its attractions.

On a full charge, the cruising range is approximately 40 to 50 km, and it takes approximately 7 hours to recharge the battery. The cost of a full charge is about 20 yen, which is very good news in these days of high prices and high oil prices.

In addition to stable driving performance on all four wheels, the front and rear suspension reduces bumps and road noise, and the wide steps make getting in and out comfortable.
