Aluna Corporation (Headquarters: Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Dai Yukiyama), a planner, developer, and manufacturer of picture frames, will exhibit its first lighting fixture, "Lumiframe," at the Osaka Takashimaya Department Store during Osaka Art & Design 2025 from June 11 (Wed) to 16 (Mon), 2025. Lumiframe Place

Lumiframe" is a highly designed lighting fixture created through a collaboration between Aruna, Inc., a manufacturer of aluminum picture frames, and up-and-coming designer Akira Hojo.

A prototype was exhibited at the Milano Salone in Milan, Italy in April 2025. The simple design with a clothoid curve and versatile usage such as placing, hanging, and standing were well received by overseas buyers and consumers.

Lumiframe redefines the culture of "decorating" cultivated as a picture frame manufacturer as an interior product.

The use of extrusion molding allows for a wide range of lengths and dimensions, and allows for free installation, such as placing, hanging, and standing.

The structure can be disassembled into a single material for easy maintenance and environmental friendliness.

Inspired by the beautiful cross section of extruded aluminum, the product combines functionality and design.

It offers a new form of light that accompanies people in their daily lives.

Akira Hojo is a product designer based in Tokyo, Japan, who majored in product design at Kanazawa College of Art.

He develops and presents products with a focus on "what kind of experience do you want people to have? While searching for the essence of what is essential, he designs with the user at the center and seeks to create products that are essential and pure.
