Tentai Corporation, which operates three small-scale nurseries and one company-led nursery school in Miyagi Prefecture, has opened Kirari Nursery School Minoh in Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, on April 1, 2025, as a Baby Science certified nursery school. The crowdfunding campaign will run until May 31, 2025.

What is Baby Science?

It is an original program that supports healthy growth by focusing on normal development during infancy. Specifically, it is about how to hold a baby, the contents of weaning food and when to start it. Avoid excessive consumption of dairy products, wheat, sugar, etc. Don't show too many videos, etc., which stimulate the eyes and brain. This is not a general rule, but a system to consider and support child-rearing suited to the growth of each individual child.

Food is especially important, and we avoid foods that are hard on the developing intestines, use seasonings without additives, and provide Kurosawa rice (pesticide-free rice) from Miyagi Prefecture.

■Social Issues to be solved

Childcare that nurtures a healthy body and a healthy mind. There are many things about childcare and development that we don't understand. In fact, the number of preschools with children requiring special support is increasing every year. Kirari Nursery School is no exception, and even as we carefully addressed childcare, we began to sense anomalies, so we came across Baby Science as we learned and explored various things. As I studied the Baby Science course, I was deeply impressed by the information that I found necessary in the field of childcare! I was deeply impacted by the information I learned in the Baby Science course, and I felt that this is exactly what the childcare field needs!

■What we hope to achieve through this project

With the rapid decline in the number of births, there may be more daycare centers closing in the future. What are the nursery schools that will be chosen? It is important to improve the nursery school environment to create a truly child-centered society so that nurseries throughout Japan can better support infant and toddler development. First of all, we would like to help many people of child-rearing age by making them aware of the efforts of Kirari Nursery, a Baby Science certified nursery school.
