Grand Marble Co. (Headquarters: 93 Kamitoba Kitashimada-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director: Masanori Yamamoto), a marble Danish specialty store originating in Kyoto, has launched a new lunch menu at "Cafe Grand Marble Gion Chikara" on the second floor of the main Grand Marble Gion store in Hanamikoji, Gion, starting May 1, 2025, with a focus on ingredients and taste. The new lunch menu, which focuses on ingredients and deliciousness, will be available from May 1, 2025.
The lunch plate is a sumptuous combination of Grand Marble's signature Danish and ingredients, which can be enjoyed both visually and in terms of taste.
The new lunch menu, made possible only by Grand Marble, takes full advantage of the appeal of Danish.

■New Lunch Menu with Marble Danish
The new lunch menu is a hearty meal menu using "Marble Danish". While maintaining the delicious taste of the marble Danish, we have combined it with carefully selected ingredients to create a plate that is very satisfying. This is a lunch menu that can only be enjoyed here, using luxurious marble Danish made by a Danish specialty restaurant.
Grand Marble Special Dashimaki Danish Sandwich" 1,540 yen (tax included)
Grand Marble's signature sweet Danish is sandwiched between soft and fluffy dashimaki rolls carefully prepared with Kyoto eggs. The aromatic dried bonito flakes and nori (seaweed) add an accent. Each dashimaki is baked to order and is moist and juicy. Enjoy it with warm soup stock, Kyoto yuba (yuba leaves), and pickles. You will enjoy the heartwarming Japanese taste.

Tuna Melt Danish Sandwich with black seven spice flavor: 1,980 yen (tax included)
The Danish sandwich is filled with a filling of richly flavored tuna, crisp onions, and sour cornichons, elegantly dressed with mayonnaise. The filling is perfectly matched with melted cheddar cheese. This spicy sandwich for adults is finished with a touch of black seven spice. It is a dish with a flavor unique to Kyoto.

Aromatic spiced curry is paired with a hearty, crispy Danish. The colorful vegetables add a gorgeous touch to this eye-catching lunch plate. The sweet and sour dip adds a different flavor to the dish. We recommend sharing this dish with your family and friends. Additional Danish can be added (free of charge).

A total of four dishes, including the above three plus the popular "Thick-sliced Danish with melted cheese" (1,210 yen (tax included)), are available during lunch hours from 11:00 to 14:00 (L.O. 14:00).

■Cafe Grand Marble Gion Chikara
Located on the second floor of the main Grand Marble Gion store, Café Grand Marble Gion Chikara is a hideaway café where you can enjoy a sophisticated menu and a space supervised by a world-renowned artist.
The interior features a large bentwood counter, table seating, and a small tatami room, and artwork by creators is also on display. Located in a gorgeous location in Kyoto's representative flower district, it is a comfortable space with a relaxing Japanese atmosphere and artistic stimulation.
In addition to a lunch menu, the restaurant also offers a selection of original sweets.
