Background of the event

Our company develops OEM eggs exclusively for confectionery and wholesales them to confectionery shops. Recently, this industry has been experiencing a string of bankruptcies and closures due to high raw material prices, rising labor costs, and labor shortages ( https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/ae68e67b3c2ca543f4b 700bedc1491946feaac59 ).

In response to this situation, we have come up with this project in the hope that we can be a bridge between confectioners and the local community.

A decade ago, a cake shop was one of the most coveted occupations that children wanted to be in the future. We thought that the smiles on the faces of the people who ate the sweets might have been the reason why they chose a confectionery shop among many other occupations, and we wanted to create an opportunity to directly touch the smiling faces of local children once again, and at the timing of the new school year, we wanted to create an opportunity to smoothly transition to a new environment through some fun activity. This is why we decided to hold this event.
