Eucalyptus Yuutokai (President: Tetsuo Shimada), a social welfare corporation operated by the Yamaman Group (Yamaman Corporation; Head Office: 6-1 Nihonbashi Koamicho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuo Shimada), will open the "Eucalyptus Hill International Welfare College" (hereinafter "College") in April 2025 as part of its efforts as an urban development company to address the social problem of a shortage of essential workers in nursing and childcare services for the elderly. ＜Background of the Establishment

Through our urban development activities in Eucalyptus Hill, we have become acutely aware that the shortage of essential workers in the fields of nursing care and childcare for the elderly is only becoming more serious.

In order to compensate for the decline in the working population, there is a need to improve childcare services as women's participation in society accelerates.

At the same time, there is a growing need for nursing care services to solve the issues of nursing care leave and leaving the nursing care system due to the aging of the population.

In response, the Yamaman Group, utilizing its experience in operating nursing care and childcare facilities, will open a vocational school with the aim of developing the human resources needed in the community.

The education at the vocational school is characterized by an approach that is rooted in the Eucalyptus Hill area. We will emphasize interaction with the local community as well as on-site experience at the nursing homes, hospitals, and childcare facilities we operate locally. Students can deepen their connection with society through participation in various events and volunteer activities.

In addition to domestic personnel, the program also provides support for international students. We plan to provide specialized education for international students who wish to obtain a national qualification as a caregiver.

Through the establishment of the vocational school, the Yamaman Group aims to contribute to social issues amid the super-aging society and declining birthrate, as well as to the local community.

Department of Child Care and Education (Child caregiver training facility designated by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare) 2-year course, capacity of 50 students

　Upon graduation, students obtain a national qualification as a nursery teacher.

Department of Care and Welfare (designated by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as a facility for training care workers): 2-year program, 40 students

　Upon graduation, students are qualified to take the National Examination for Care Workers.

International Welfare Care Course (for international students): 1-year program, 40 students

　Upon graduation, students will be qualified to complete training for entry-level nursing care workers.

＜Our original loan scholarship system

Students in the Child Care and Childcare and Care Work departments can use the school's own loan scholarship system in addition to Chiba Prefecture's loan system for nursery school teachers and care workers to eliminate the need to pay their own tuition fees while in school.

The development of Eucalyptus Hill, a new town with a total development area of 250 hectares (planned total population of approximately 30,000), began in 1971 and is located in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, and is being developed by Yamaman Corporation. Aiming to create a "new environmental city where nature and urban functions are in harmony," Yamaman Corporation is developing a high-rise, multi-story development of residential and commercial buildings around Eucalyptus Hill Station on the Keisei Main Line and a flat development of single-family homes within a 10-minute walk of each station on the Yamaman-Eucalyptus Hill Line, a new transportation system. 100,000 yen for all departments, but those recommended by designated schools for the Department of Childcare and Nursing Care are exempted. Students recommended by designated schools for the Department of Child Care and Nursing Care are exempted from the entrance fee.
